Luxury Family Holidays

As the holiday and hotel industry becomes more competitive we understand that some of our customers might want to make the most of the tumbling prices and go for something which might previously have been out of budget. When it comes to family Holidays they are often the one thing that loving parents have saved up all year around, just to make happen. Below is a list of family holiday destinations with a little splash of extra luxury for those who want to make this year’s family holiday just a touch more memorable.

Dubai

The United Arab Emirates is becoming increasingly popular with families with Dubai being the pick of the bunch. It is understandable why this fantastically opulent place is breaking the mould when compared with your traditional family holiday. The city itself is littered with things to see and do, fantastic malls, theme parks and water worlds there really is entertainment at every turn.

For this specific blog we would like to focus in on Atlantis, The Palm. Atlantis is visually one of the most famous hotels, not only in Dubai but in the whole world. Once you get inside it’s totally noticeable that this place has been built to stand out, it’s a paradise for children and adults alike, with vast open hallways heading off into each separate half of the hotel it s certainly big enough to cater for the amount of visitors they have frequenting their fantastic premises. Atlantis comes prepped with countless restaurants, giant fish tanks which become home to a number of sharks and stingrays and its own waterpark, plus a whole host of other fantastic amenities including a super inclusive kids’ zone for both the younger ones and those stroppy teens. This place is as good as family hotels come and really should be considered if you are looking for something incredibly memorable.

Mexico

Playa Del Carmen has been a popular family hotspot for some time, I mean what isn’t to love about the Mexican weather and hospitality? Nothing, that’s what! Playa Del Carmen itself is populated mainly by large resorts and high-end spa focused hotels which offer a brilliant balance of family life and the opportunity for total relaxation. However, the beauty of this location is that you are more than welcome to wander from your hotel into one of the local towns and enjoy the array of nightlife, the Mexican traditional style of entertainment mixes perfectly with what the European and American tourists crave, meaning a good night is guaranteed for all

Canary Islands

I know what you’re thinking, ‘I though he said luxury’ for us something doesn’t have to be half way across the world and painfully expensive to be classed as luxury, its all about deals and circumstance. Therefore, if you are to take into account some of the fantastic five-star family resorts in the Canary Islands its totally understandable why they are so popular.

Firstly, year-round sun, all 365 days! (this is not a guarantee as of course we can’t control the weather!) We see more and more people from Europe choosing to head to the Canaries based on the locality of the islands, it is obvious that this is more suitable when travelling with younger children. Another brilliant factor to the canaries is that while offering all the setting of a brilliant holiday destination there is something which makes each island feel homely, whether it’s the options of countless eateries and bars or the fact that European sport is readily available. Across the canaries there are countless fantastic attractions such as water parks and theme parks meaning that those who have travelled with bigger children (code name for adults) will always find something for everyone to enjoy.

Mauritius

Mauritius being a location which was reserved only for honeymoons is a thing of the past and its time to share all the natural beauty of this wonderful island with the whole family. From the luscious white sand beaches to the rolling rainforest Mauritius is one of the most picturesque locations you are likely to ever come across. The waters of Mauritius are crystal clear and the island itself is surrounded in coral reef which of course means the snorkelling is phenomenal.

The hotels on the island are resort based and are mainly upper bracket 4 and 5 stars, they have countless activities for kids from pool and beach related activities to designated kids only club rooms. For us Mauritius is very much the next big luxury family destination therefore now is a great time to explore the island and make the most of the fantastic resorts it has to offer. There are also multiple hotels on the island which have fantastic golf courses attached to their facilities offering something extra for every keen golfer.
